The 1st International Conference on the Electronic Structure of
Complex Quantum Matter and Microstructure
Shanghai, China (May 30th - June 2nd, 2015)
Chair: Prof. Changyoung Kim
Co-Chair: Prof. Donglai Feng
Scope
In recent years, we have experienced very fast developments in the condensed matter physics research. This brings up necessity to obtain and share the first hand knowledge in the forefront research. For the purpose, we will have the 1st International Conference on the Electronic Structure of Complex Quantum Matter and Microstructure and are to bring world leaders on several fronts of research on emerging phenomena in condensed matter physics. This conference will be held in Shanghai between May 30 and June 2. During the conference, we cover materials such as superconductor, strongly correlated materials as well as strong spin orbit coupled materials.
Topics
The conference will be held between May 30 - June 2, 2015. Topics that will be covered in the conference are high temperature superconductivity (cuprates and pnictides), strongly correlated materials and topological insulators. The focus will be on emergent quantum phenomena that originate from correlations among charge, spin and lattice.
